BISC Partners is implementing behavioral insights research to foster cooperation between the private and non-governmental sectors.
The research is carried out under the Civil Society Engagement Program of UN Global Compact Network Georgia and the US Agency for International Development (USAID). The main objectives of the program is to strengthen civil society actors and assist in building capacity, legitimacy and confidence to effectively represent citizens’ interests.
One of the most important components of the program is the encouragement of partnership projects between business and non-governmental organizations, through the development of corporate responsibility.
The purpose of the research is to identify the behavioral barriers and challenges that prevent cooperation between the private sector and civil society organizations and to identify opportunities for deepening the colaboration endevours.
Ketevan Gomelauri, Behavior Science Lead, BISC Partners: “Behavioral insights research allows us to observe not only existing attitudes and/or opinions, but also the underlying drivers and influence mechanisms (Influence Map). The mentioned methodology, based on the analysis of behavior patterns, identifies the factors that determine the desired behavior (motivators) or, on the contrary – investigates barriers. At the same time the behavior map gives us a clear picture of what kind of social and physical context exists and what can be prerequisites for the change strategy.”
The results of the research will be announced in September 2022.
